TEG is Hiring an Inventory Accountant Near Dallas, TX
Our client, located near Addison, is looking for an experienced Construction/Project Accountant to join their team on a contract basis to help clean-up their inventory.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory is required
- General Ledger and Job Cost Accounting experiences are highly preferred
- Must be able to jump right in
- Must be detailed
- Experience using NetSuite is helpful
- Support our land re-Platt cleanup initiative, aligning PO’s, CIP and fixed assets into the proper subsidiary.
- Reconciliation of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment inventory and deposit balances in NetSuite.
- Audit and reconcile inventory transactions to ensure complete accuracy of system and physical locations.
- Develop process for intercompany cost transfers from Parent deposit account to subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with Financial Analysts to complete financial allocation tracking of OFCI inventory from parent to subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Delivery, Finance and Accounting to develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation.
- Other Project Accounting duties as appropriate. This is a cross-functional role that will be largely focused on reconciliation and clean up activities.
